What documents do you need for an FEM calculation?

3D CAD model (STEP or native: Creo, SolidWorks, Inventor, Fusion 360), load cases and boundary conditions, material specifications as well as use case and ambient conditions.

How long does an FEM calculation take?

Simple analyses 2–3 working days, complex calculations 1–3 weeks – depending on complexity.

What does the calculation report include?

Documentation of boundary conditions, visualisation of results, interpretation of results, optimisation suggestions and standards-compliant verification.

Which standards do you calculate to?

Depending on the application to Eurocode 3/9, ÖNORM EN 1993, the FKM guideline for strength verification and customer-specific requirements. If your standard is not listed, just get in touch.

Can you also verify weld seams and fatigue strength?

Yes. We combine FEM results with structural stress or notch stress concepts and the FKM guideline to deliver robust, verifiable statements on weld seam and fatigue strength.
